SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2026 Qualification
Candidates must have passed 12th Standard (Intermediate) or equivalent examination.
The qualification must be from a recognized Board or University.

Stenographer Grade C & D Selection Process 2026
- Computer Based Test Exam (CBTE): 200 marks (objective; General Intelligence & Reasoning 50, GA 50, English 100); qualifying: 30% UR, 25% OBC/EWS, 20% others.
- Skill Test in Stenography (Qualifying): Grade C: 100 wpm (English/Hindi); Grade D: 80 wpm (English/Hindi) (10 min dictation; 40% UR/EWS, 35% others pass marks).
- Candidates must provide valid documents (mark sheet/certificate) during document verification (DV) by User Departments.
- Final Merit: Based on CBT marks (category-wise); All India Service Liability.
